More Pre-school lessons

Eva is planting some flower seeds.

We have been studying life-cycles. First she raised the butterflies and now

hoping to have some sweet smelling flowers.

Spring time

We have enjoyed walking the trails now that the weather is so nice. We have a couple spots we enjoy. There is the pond where the girls can dig for fossils. They also enjoy the bench swing.

This is the carnival at Bee Cave Elementary.

Mallory and Eva were hanging out, having fun,

while El enjoyed the bungy trampoliny thingy.

Happy Easter! (part one)

This is one of our pre-Easter activities. Our community had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids a couple weeks before Easter. This is Eva doing her model moves to show off her beautiful dress.

Part of the activities included holding baby bunnies, chicks, and even a little hedgehog. Eva loved her little bunny and would only hold this one.

El and Todd found the lemonade and cotton candy!

Butter Beer

El is our resident beer brewer. Butter Beer that is. For those of you not familiar with the wizarding world of Harry Potter, Butter Beer is a popular non-alcoholic drink. El has been brewing it at home ever since we tried it at Universal Studios.

It is delicious!!!

Eva iTouch

This is five of about 5,000 pictures Eva has taken of herself on her iTouch. The iTouch (which I told her she was too young to have) has been a lifesaver. It keeps her entertained during all those "boring" times. She now has an app to change the look of pictures. I'll post some of those after the next download.

Eva at Play

This is Eva in her wizards hat. It came with her potion kit from Gramma Pat and Pa for her birthday. She loves her potions kit! We have made things change color and fizz and boil and bubble.

Tennis Anyone?

Eva and I went shoe shopping. We found an adorable pair of pink sparkly All Stars. Later that day, out of the blue, she asked me if I knew how to play tennis. I replied that I did indeed know how to play. She asked if we could play. So I gathered our rackets and found a couple tennis balls and off we went to the court down the street. We played for quite a while and she really enjoyed it. I later asked her, "What made you think of tennis?" She replied, "Because we bought these tennis shoes!"

The next pair of shoes we buy will be called Send Mommy to the Spa Shoes!

That weekend we got the whole family in on the game!

Butterflies!

I am teaching Eva about the Life Cycle of a Butterfly. As part of our unit of study we are raising some butterflies from the pupa stage. They just arrived and Eva is very excited!!!

My kind of girl!

It is spring break. Eva is so excited because we get to "keep" Issy for nine days! El was then invited to go to Six Flags with her friend Mallory. Eva was devastated. To cheer her up I told her that today would be Eva and Mommy fun day! I asked her what she would like to do. She answered, "I want to go to the mall and buy shoes." Like I said... my kind of girl!

Sleeping Beauty

Eva is, once again, Princess Aurora.

Many of you may remember the days long ago when she was Sleeping Beauty... all the time. Did not answer to Eva. Well, this was just some fun dress up.

Art School

Eva goes to art class each week. She really enjoys it! Here are some pictures taken after class with the art on her face! Gotta love face paints.

Seems like every time the camera comes out Eva turns into Miss Model.
