Eva decided to by a cheerleader.

So she picked out her outfit and started cheering!

As you can see they are just little babies! So sweet...

OK, OK, so they have grown into little girls.

But who came up with this 21 number?

See... just as young and innocent as can be.

Alright, I'll give you big girls.

However, adulthood is a long way off!

You see... If these girls are already grown, it happened in an instant.

If I am to believe they are 21... then that means it could happen just a s quickly to my younger babies!

Well, since you all grow so much more sweet and beautiful each year, I guess I will allow you to continue. I am so happy to have my sweet girls in my life. You bring joy and happiness to my life and to my girls. I know (in my head) that you are my sister's children... but in my heart you are mine as well!

Happy 5th Birthday Eva!!!

El continues to be a favorite of Eva's... perhaps because she let Eva open a birthday present early! This is the gift from El to Eva. A purple package with a pink pig wearing a tiara with money attached. It is amazing without being opened!

Eva had a "Tiana Tea Party" birthday. That is from The Princess and the Frog movie.

The party started with the decorating of tiaras crowns or swords (for the boys).

Then a game of Kiss the Frog.

Well the game actually used red felt lips and a blindfold.

Hiding behind the wall is Ian. He is one of Eva's BFFs and was dancing with her.

After a snack it is tiem to play in the bubbles and play some New Orleans Jazz.

Eva decided to be a cowgirl. So she dressed up! Then said, "Mom, let's take some pictures". So here are a small fraction of the shots taken. I gave zero direction... all posing is all Eva!

I had to tell her my battery was dead to get her to stop the photo shoot.

Snow Day!!!

Ah..... the joys of a snow day! We do not get them often, but enjoy them to the fullest when they happen. El did all she could to promote the situation. She wore her pajamas inside out and slept with a wooden spoon under her pillow! I am not positive, but I think her cousins gave her that superstitious ritual. The equation worked this time.

The girls are ready to play. Todd has been playing in the snow for a couple hours already. He left to go to work around 8:00. He called a bit after 10:00 and informed me that he was at Starbucks. Starbucks is about 12 minutes away. He had some slipping and some sliding (as in backwards down the hill). He managed to free himself from a ditch. All in all a pretty fun morning:0

This was a dry snow. My northern readers know that means snowballs were not good but the snow was beautiful, as if filled with glitter.
